Mission Statement

The Holbrook Town Forest Committee maintains and stewards the 115-acre Holbrook Town Forest in northeastern Holbrook, MA. Established in 1955 on undeveloped land, this pristine forest features trails through glacial rock outcroppings and wetlands. The Committee is dedicated to habitat protection, ensuring the forest remains an ecologically rich and scenic community resource for passive activities like hiking, snowshoeing, bird watching, and natural science education. The Town Forest is part of the Cranberry Brook Watershed designated Area of Critical Environmental Concern. The Committee is appointed by the Select Board.

Entrances are located at the Mann Entrance (75 Pine Street), Carolyn Long Entrance (255 Pine Street), and McKay-Sodergren Entrance (on Park Drive, in the Forest Road neighborhood off of Pine Street ). Maps are available at the Conservation Office at Town Hall.
