Hazard Mitigation Planning
The Town of Holbrook Needs Your Help!
Hazard mitigation planning (HMP) is an iterative process that seeks to reduce the impact of natural hazards on people and property. The Town of Holbrook is in the process of assessing a variety of natural hazards that pose a risk to the health and welfare of its residents, identifying specific vulnerabilities associated with those hazards and global warming, and identifying local capabilities and specific mitigation activities intended to protect homes, businesses, and the critical infrastructure that keeps our town safe and operational. This process is intended to address the issues that impact Holbrook residents, business owners, and visitors, both now and in future years.
We are currently crafting our “Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan in Holbrook, MA” and would like your feedback on Natural Hazards that affect Holbrook. This information will be used to help update the Plan for 2026 and set Action Items for the Town to pursue over the next five years. There are two ways to help us!
