Lead Determination in Children

The Holbrook Board of Health offers Code Enforcement Lead Determinations in part of the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program.

Requirements for an Inspection

• Unit or house was built before 1978
• Child under the age of 6 resides in the unit

If you believe you have lead in your home that was built before 1978, and have a child 6 and under living in the house, call to set up an inspection!

Facts

• Lead poisoning is a 100% preventable condition
• There is no safe lead level for children
• Low levels of lead can negatively impact a child's development
